Arkaringa Station to Erldunda - 08 August 2013

Transport stage today, heading up towards Alice Springs. Still some amazing scenery and unexpected sights, like the grave of a four year old

beside the track to Cadney Roadhouse. A beautiful if rugged setting, but sad to see.
The track has been graded in the last week, so is quite smooth, but the same guy who put all the bends into the Arkaringa end must have worked

on this section as well. Saw some live Skippy things today which makes a nice change from the usual road kill variety.

Made it to Erldunda in the early afternoon which was a nice change. Had time for a shower to wash off most of the red dust (did I tell you how

dusty it is out here????) and change of clothes, a catch up on the e-mail etc and a refreshing beer before happy hour at the pub.

Prado Scores: Len 47 after trailing all day, Hazel 44.

Bloody amateur photographer getting his own shadow in the shot!
